How to search for bare root roses or find information about roses
|
FIND ALL ROSES
To view our full list of roses, select 'Order bare root roses' on the menu bar on the left of the screen. Click either the 'Search' at the top or the 'Search for Roses' button at the bottom, leaving all the tick boxes empty. As we have over 800 varieties, this search is slower and the full results may take some time to appear on your screen. In practice it is often better to use the advanced search facility in the coloured box at the bottom of the page to narrow your search.
FIND A SPECIFIC ROSE
If you know the name of the rose you're looking for, type all or part of the name in the 'Find rose by name' box and click 'Search'.
Alternatively click on any of the underlined letters to see roses which have names beginning with the selected letter. On this site, species roses (often known as wild roses) have names beginning with Rosa and will be listed under R.
FIND GROUPS OF ROSES
If you would like to see all roses in a particular category, click on the box next to the rose type, eg English Rose. A tick will appear in the box. Then click on 'Search for roses'.
FIND ROSES BY COLOUR OR FORM
You can refine your search further by choosing a colour or colours and selecting the flower forms which interest you. It's possible to select as many different options as you would like. This is helpful if you are looking for a rose to fit in a warm colour scheme for example, as you can compare all yellow or apricot English Roses with double flowers.
QUICK SEARCH
There is also a basic 'Quick search' facility at the top of each page. The quick search recognises certain words and makes assumptions. You may find this makes a useful starting point for your enquiry. Please use the advanced search facility if the quick search doesn't provide the result you expect.

Search for roses in the container rose collection
|
David Austin's container roses make wonderful gifts as they arrive by courier in a specially designed and very sturdy rose print box. They are also a great way to fill a gap on the border during the season.
We operate a 'looking good' policy. This means that we inspect roses regularly and only make the best ones available on our website. Please bear in mind that roses will be in different stages of growth at different times in the year. From October to March container roses will arrive pruned back, ready for planting.
